Why it is not a problem
Salons use different products: gel polish, builder gel, acrylic, Gel-X. The technician looks at what is on the nail and chooses how to remove it. Dense material may take longer, but the removal price stays the same.

Why not peel it off
Peeling takes the top layer of the nail with the gel. The nail gets thinner and lifts sooner next time. If the gel has been on for more than three weeks, tell us in advance so we allow time for removal and surface care.
If you are not sure what is on the nail, send a photo before booking. The technician can usually tell gel from acrylic or Gel-X and will confirm the price and time.
If the gel was done recently and holds well, removal may take longer than usual. The technician softens the material instead of cutting it off, so the nail is not damaged.
