Gel removal at LENA costs 50,000₫ (~$2) and takes about 20 minutes. The technician softens the gel, removes it and buffs the nail. Do not peel it off at home: the top layer of the nail comes with it, and the next gel lifts sooner.

Why not peel it off
Gel bonds to the top layer of the nail. Peeling takes part of that layer with it, so the nail gets thinner and the next gel lifts sooner. Warm water at home softens the skin, not the gel.
Removal includes softening the gel, taking it off and buffing the nail. It does not include a new colour; that is the gel change at 180,000₫.
If the nail looks thin afterwards, we suggest a short break instead of a new layer straight away.
Removal of gel done at another salon is fine; tell us in advance because some products take longer to soften.
